The CompanionAble Consortium is organising its third workshop entitled

"Future Internet of People, Things and Services (IoPTS) eco-Systems
Empowering Future AAL Teams of Companion Robots and e-Carers"

 in Collaboration with the AAL Cluster

Brussels, 1st and 2nd of December 2009

 

Important Deadlines:

  • Submission of position papers: 3rd November 2009 15th November 2009 now closed.
  • Notification to Authors:  10th November 2009 20th November 2009.
  • Submission of Camera-Ready Papers: 17th of November 2009 25th November 2009

The Co-ordinator Prof. Atta Badii gave a talk at the Workshop Human-Machine-Interaction at the KI2009, presenting the CompanionAble project, introducing the objectives and higher level architecture. Dr. Andreas Bley from MetraLabs introduced the SCITOS G5 robotic platform within the same workshop; this platform is also the basis for the CompanionAble Mobile Robot.

"Graceful Integration of Acceptable Assistive Robotics and Smart Homes: Challenges and opportunities for AAL"

 co-located with the 3rd European Conference on Ambient Intelligence in Salzburg, Austria between the 18th and 21st November 2009.

 

Important Deadlines:

Submission of Papers: September 18th Deadline extended to 28th of September

Notification of Authors: September 30th

Submission Camera Ready Papers: October 19th
