Role/Responsibilities: Leader of user requirements workpackage, ethical and practical evaluation in user tests beds, methodology for user evaluation, lead of French field trial, content generation for day time management provider

The activities of the Broca (La-Collegiale-La-Rochefoucauld) Hospital are devoted to medical care, research and teaching in Geriatrics (René Descartes Paris 5 University). The hospital includes 550 beds divided into: (1) Acute, rehabilitation care and long term hospitalisation, (2) Day dare hospitalisation mainly devoted to the assessment of cognitive disorders, (3) Four Geriatric Evaluation Units (GEA). Two GEA are located in acute care hospitals: Cochin and Hotel-Dieu, the two other GEA aim at providing sanitary support in coordination with the family doctor at home and in nursing homes respectively. (4) The hospital is also Regional Expert Centre devoted to Alzheimer Disease (AD) caring in Ile de France. Thus, its tasks include clinical expertise, research coordination, training and education of professionals, coordination of an ethical group and of memory consultations in Ile de France. Our research activities include: (1) assessment of cognitive functions, vascular risk factors and depression in the elderly, (2) participation into pharmacological trials for the treatment of dementia, (3) Evaluation of e-learning programmes for professionals, (4) Evaluation of cognitive stimulation and educational programmes for AD patients and their caregivers respectively. These programmes are currently evaluated at the national level in “Programmes Hospitaliers de Recherche Clinique” and are part of a telecare system for old persons with cognitive disabilities at home (OSEO-ANVAR RNTS TANDEM programme). The hospital is part of the European Alzheimer Disease Consortium (EADC)
